FORMER PANTHER LEE SMITH ON MACKEY AWARD WATCH LIST!
2006 Powell graduate Lee Smith is has been named to the pre-season All Conference USA's First Team and is on the official watch list for the John Mackey Award, which designates college football's top tight end.  Here is the link to the release from Marshall's Sports Information Department:
