Panthers make the State Farm Rivalry Thursday Schedule again in 2012

For the third consecutive season, the Powell Panthers will be part of Mark Packer's State Farm Rivalry lineup in the fall.
Powell's game at Hardin Valley Academy will be moved to Thursday, September 27 as a part of the popular game lineup on MyVLT - TV. Powell has hosted State Farm's Thursday Night Rivalry the past two seasons - a 62-7 blowout over arch rival Halls in 2010, and then a thrilling come from behind 21-17 victory over Oak Ridge in 2011. This will be the Panther's first appearance as a visiting team in the Packer production.
