                                               Statement of Purpose

The Powell High School Touchdown Club is made up of parents, friends and community members.  The purpose of the club is to:

·         Provide positive support, both financial and moral, to the development of the Powell High School football program.

·         Promote and maintain enthusiastic support from the community for the Powell High School football program.

·         Build and maintain the Touchdown Club so that it will become a permanent and reliable source of support for the football program.

·         Provide pre-game meals to players and coaches.

·         Provide the football banquet for players and coaches at the end of the football season.

The Touchdown Club holds several fundraisers during the year to help pay for the items above.  Some of those consist of:

·         Holding Youth Football Camp for the young football players

·         Selling advertisements and Producing the Media Guide

·         Selling advertising banners around the field

·         Holding the annual Freshman Jamboree

·         And other events that may be presented to the club.
