A Note From US...Many of you have asked for it, so we’ve made it happen. Beginning this Friday night at Karns, the live broadcasts of Powell High Football will be available online. AM 620 WRJZ has partnered with First Baptist Church of Powell to make the broadcasts available via internet streaming. If you have family or friends outside of the Knoxville market who would like to listen, please let them know that they can now tune us in online.
There are two different ways you can access the online streaming broadcast. You can go to the Powell Football website at www.powellpanthersfootball.com/ and there will be a link to First Baptist Church’s site for the streaming connection. Or you can go directly to First Baptist Church’s website at www.fbcpowell.org/ and you will find the streaming connection at the top of the page on Fridays at game time.
The broadcasts begin each Friday night at 7 PM for the Panther Pre-Game Show and wraps after the game with the Post Game Show. Join me, the Radio Voice of Powell Panther Football, Bill Mynatt, along with my broadcast partner Kyle Blackburn, and sideline reporter Justin Shaw each week online for Powell Football.
And of course, if you are in the Knoxville area you can still pick us up on AM 620 WRJZ

Welcome to the new official website of Powell High School Panther Football and the Powell Football Touchdown Club! We hope you will find the site informational and entertaining.
We are working hard to make sure everything is current, so if a page is temporarily under construction, please excuse our mess. We'll fix it as soon as possible.
You should begin to notice significant changes in the website. While the site is still sponsored by the PHS Touchdown Club, the site will be maintained and webmastered by the WRJZ Powell football Broadcast team of Bill Mynatt and Kyle Blackburn. Bill will begin his 9th season as the Radio Voice of Powell Panther Football when the Panthers welcome South-Doyle to Scarbro Stadium on August 20. Kyle, who has been a member of the broadcast team for 5 years, will slide in the color analyst seat this fall.
Soon you will notice some exciting new additions to PowellPanthersFootball.com. Besides schedules, rosters, and the other information that has been a vital part of the website for the past year, some of the new features you will notice will be a section for team and individual statistics, individual season and career PHS football records, recent game pictures, and game video highlights.
During the season, Bill will be doing weekly game reviews, as well as previews of the coming week’s game and thoughts from the Panther coaches and players.
And of course, any news of happenings and events within the Powell Touchdown Club will be posted to the site, so be sure to check back daily for those news announcements.
